Description Hellfire Zone

Hellfire Zone is a bland isometric first-person shooter that resembles Electronic Arts' Jungle Strike, but isn't as fun even though it's much newer.

As the pilot of an Apache helicopter, your mission is to fly through enemy terrain and save captured F-14 pilots by destroying the enemy strongholds where they are being held prisoner. Along the way, you will have to deal with both ground targets, such as tanks and soldiers, and air units, such as fighters and helicopters. Armed at first with chaingun (unlimited ammo) and missiles (limited ammo), you can pick up additional weapons by landing near them. The game would have been much more fun and enduring if it had been the first game with this premise and gameplay. Unfortunately, we've seen it all before, and done many times better. Basically Hellfire Zone is a 'poor' version of the far superior Navy Strike, and adds nothing new to make it more interesting.
