Description Hyperrace
Hyperrace is a top view scrolling game with some shooter elements where the screen constantly scrolls in the direction you move your low spacecraft over a surface. The game is single player or two player with split screen so both players can play at the same time. You and a friend are in a Space Academy and to graduate you have to complete several levels by going from a starting platform to an ending platform. As you fly you must avoid certain obstacles, some of which can be eliminated with your cannon. Another spaceship makes its appearance and you have to avoid it, and if you hit something then you lose part of an energy bar. When the bar reaches the red part, the screen starts flashing and when it empties, the game is over for that player. The player who reaches the finish platform first will get extra points.
