Lightspeed and Hyperspeed are arguably two of the most underrated space simulators of all time, designed by the celebrated designer of Gunship 2000 and F-15 Strike Eagle III, Andy Hollis.
Although presented as 'adventure strategy' games, they are actually space simulators with some adventure elements. Still, the categorization problems can't hide the fact that they are two of the best, with fluid animations, cool ships and a great interface.
All in all, great space exploration simulators that follow in the venerable tradition of Elite. Highly recommended.
