Description Into the Deep
Your mission is to enter a network of caverns on a remote planet and rescue the survivors of the crashed spaceship, Colonial Expedition 901. You control a rescue ship sent from your mothership and search the caverns over several levels. The game is a horizontal scrolling shooter in which the screen scrolls left or right as you move your ship. Although you can hit the sides of the caverns, you must avoid the doors, or shoot or avoid the various obstacles such as meteors and other objects, as touching them depletes your shield meter. Once your shield meter is empty, you will lose one of your three lives. To pass to the next level, you must collect a certain amount of survivors before returning to the mothership to fill your shield gauge and pass to the next level.
