Description Jack Charlton's Match Fishing
Those who know Jack Charlton from his days as Republic of Ireland soccer manager may think that this game refers to his habit of researching the histories of English footballers in the hope of finding a unique Irish grandfather in order to qualify the player for his team. However, in reality he is also known for his love of fishing.
Up to 8 players can participate, each of whom is assigned a 'spot', basically a random position along a lake. Before you start, the types of fish you can face in each area are detailed: pike, roach and bream are the most common. With this information you can decide what type of rod to use, choose your bait and decide how deep to fish - the experts in the field will be fine here.
During the main part of the game, one of the 8 bays will flash: the player fishing from this peg must press the corresponding number as quickly as possible, and then watch a short animation showing the result, which is a function of how fast you press the key, and whether you have the right equipment.
