James Bond 007: Nightfire is a video game in the action genre developed by Gearbox Software LLC and published by Electronic Arts, Inc. originally released in 2002. It is currently playable on Windows, Mac.

The release of James Bond 007: Nightfire in 2002 acquainted millions of gamers with the thrilling world of the iconic British Secret Service Agent. A first-person shooter game, Nightfire comprised of numerous missions for its players to embark on, complete with secret bazaars, hidden lairs, and technologically advanced gadgets at their disposal. Armed with MI6-issued handguns and sub-machine guns, a variety of weapons can be used across diverse locations. Run-and-gun scenarios succeed confrontations with international criminals and sabotage missions, while dodging laser-equipped henchman and snipers lurking in the shadows. Boss fights include a duel on top of a moving train, and a one-on-one with an evil femme fatale, offering high intensity fun.

Interactive gadgets like the grappling gun, wristwatch laser, Q-Claw, and laser watch, help Bond overcome any hurdle. Invoking the 007 experience even more is the option to drive various cars from the franchise, like the Aston Martin Vanquish, as well as various aircraft.

Further immersing its players into its riveting storyworld is Nightfire’s soundtrack consisting of Bond-style music, adding drama and ambiance to this intense espionage action. Gameplay remains exciting with video replay capabilities at the end of missions, and an additional 12 multiplayer modes such as “Protect the Flag”, “Team Death Match”, and “Bomb Defusal” providing multiple gaming options.
