Jantei Monogatari 3: Saver Angels

Jantei Monogatari 3: Saver Angels is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Natsume Co., Ltd. and published by Atlus Co., Ltd. originally released in 1993. It is currently playable on TurboGrafx CD.

The events of Savior Angels take place after those described in the previous installment of the series, when peace on Earth has already been restored thanks to the efforts of Divan and Marie. Three cosmic spirits have been lost in space and have to descend to Earth, taking corporeal form. They enter the bodies of three young women who have recently died: one in a car accident, one from illness, and the third - a ten-year-old girl - after committing suicide. All three were avid mahjong players and now revive endowed with mysterious mahjong powers. A special mahjong academy opens, and the Saver Angels (as the group begins to call themselves) are prepared to defeat any alien or demon in that ancient Chinese game.

Saver Angels recaptures elements of the adventure that were absent in the previous game, and even enhances them. The player can now move in first-person perspective by pointing and clicking on a point on the screen. By exploring locations, the player triggers scenes, which in turn lead to mahjong games. A special 'mahjong mode' allows the player to choose an opponent from the story mode and challenge him (or her) to a game of mahjong right away.
