Krush Kill 'n Destroy Xtreme, or simply KKND2, is a 1997 real-time strategy video game developed by Beam Software and published by Mindscape. The game is a sequel to Krush Kill 'n Destroy, and features an expanded campaign mode, new units and buildings, and multiplayer support.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where two factions, the Survivors and the Evolved, are engaged in a perpetual war. The Survivors are a military organization that is trying to retake the world from the Evolved, a race of genetically-enhanced humans.
The campaign mode of KKND2 follows the story of the Survivor's struggle against the Evolved. The player takes control of a squad of soldiers and must complete a series of missions in order to progress.
Multiplayer is also supported in KKND2, allowing players to compete against each other in skirmish battles. Up to 8 players can participate in a multiplayer game.
KKND2 received mixed reviews upon release. Some critics praised the game for its visuals and campaign mode, while others criticized it for its gameplay and lack of innovation.
