Krakout Unlimited is a video game in the action genre developed by Master Creating GmbH and published by Musicbank Ltd. originally released in 2002. It is currently playable on Windows.
Krakout Unlimited is a remake of Gremlin's popular game Krakout, an Arkanoid-style Breakout clone.
It is a game for one or two players, in the purest Breakout style, which is played with the paddles placed on one side of the screen and not at the bottom as in the original. Brick placement is randomly generated (hence the 'unlimited' label of the title). A level editor is included, allowing players to create their own levels.
Other features include screenshots and saves (F8 and F12 keys, respectively), two difficulty levels and a choice of controls: keyboard, mouse or joystick/gamepad.
At launch, high scores could be uploaded, and mod files containing player-created levels could be downloaded and played from the menu options.
