La Cosa Nostra is a video game in the action genre developed by Slade 3D Software originally released in 1995. It is currently playable on DOS.

La Cosa Nostra is a 3D gangster-themed shooting game. The player controls Slade Ryker, a New York cop. The Girabaldi mafia family has killed his best friend and kidnapped his wife. He goes to the Girabaldi mansion to get revenge. The graphics and gameplay of La Cosa Nostra are similar to other Pie in the Sky games. Three weapons are available (shotgun, machine gun and spiked knuckles). The player can also use two types of grenades: fragmentation and gas grenades. The player must make his way through several levels, killing enemies and collecting access cards to open locks. In the end he must kill the head of the Girabaldi family to save his wife.

There are some gameplay features that are almost unique to this game, of which some can be considered documented bugs (as they are described and explained in the manual). For example, if the player commits suicide with a grenade, the game simply drops to the DOS prompt. Weapon pickups are barely visible on the ground - the manual says this is intentional, to make the game more difficult. If the player's health drops below 40%, any enemy hit kills him instantly. The manual promotes a cautious, almost stealthy style of play, but the limitations of the engine barely allow this.
