Labyrinth

Labyrinth is a video game in the puzzle genre originally released in 1986. It is currently playable on DOS.

In this shareware (but fully functional) maze-solving game, players set out on a treasure hunt within Labyrinths:Level 1 - bounded on all sides; runs from left to right.Level 2 - bounded on all sides; starts at left, treasure location is hidden.Level 3 - top and bottom wrap around; runs from left to right. Level 4 - top and bottom wrap around; starts on the left, treasure location is hidden.Level 5 - all sides wrap around; starts in the center, treasure location is hidden.The game keeps track of time and number of steps taken. For variety, several options can be changed at any time: the map can be set to show where you've been, where you are now, or the entire maze; visibility can be straight ahead or 210 steps. You can activate a 'safety rope' to leave a visible trail. The speed of movement is also adjustable, and the 'search pattern' option even allows the computer to automate the job for you.
