Lamia-1999 is a video game in the action genre developed by Hudson Soft Company, Ltd. and published by Hudson Soft Company, Ltd. originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on PC-88.

The UFO sightings and alleged contacts with extraterrestrials that spread in the second half of the 20th century ended up becoming a horrible reality. In the year 1999, aliens attacked the Earth, and in a short time destroyed many of its cities and conquered the planet. A young man named Joe wanders through the ruins of Tokyo, trying to find his missing girlfriend, Lamia. In the process he discovers the existence of a human resistance movement and attempts to liberate Earth.

Lamia-1999 is a role-playing game in which the player controls Joe and guides him through complex side-scrolling locations in Tokyo. At the beginning of the game the player can distribute some remaining points to increase Joe's attributes. Hostile aliens roam the city streets; a contact with them initiates a battle sequence, which takes place on a separate, confined screen. Combat is action-oriented and allows Joe to jump, dodging the aliens' ranged attacks. Experience points and money are awarded for defeating enemies. Joe also has an energy level and must carry food to survive.
