Description Le Sceptre d'Anubis
Le Sceptre d'Anubis is a French text and graphics based adventure game set in the Pyramids of Djoser. The player takes the role of an experienced archaeologist on vacation in Egypt, who may discover an ancient papyrus in the souk (marketplace) of Cairo. Deciphering its almost illegible hieroglyphs, he realizes that a secret entrance in this pyramid leads to the tomb of Amenhotep II, which contains gifts from the gods. It is the 'Scepter of Anubis'. To find it, archaeologists set out on an expedition equipped with a high-tech hieroglyphic decoder, a flashlight and a gun, but they forgot the water. Thus, the player must enter commands in the form of 'verb + noun' to help the archaeologist find the 'Scepter of Anubis' while avoiding numerous traps and hostile inhabitants of the pyramid.
