Description Linking Logic

Released in 1984, Linking Logic was an Atari 8-bit game that blended puzzle-solving with strategy and problem-solving. Developed by the same company that created the popular game Missile Command, Linking Logic was an instant hit among Atari 8-bit owners.

The concept of the game was quite simple - players had to link a series of shapes on a board to create a continuous line. The shapes could be of any size, but had to be connected together like a jigsaw puzzle. The player had to make sure that the pieces linked together in a way that created a complete line. The challenge of the game was that the pieces would move around the board, making it difficult to link them together in the correct order.

Gameplay was divided into two parts. In the first part, the player had to connect the shapes in the correct order. In the second part, the player had to figure out how to connect the shapes in the best way to create the longest line. This was the real challenge of the game and the main source of its appeal.

The game was quite popular and spawned a sequel called Connect Four. It was a game that required strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and it was something that could be enjoyed by both children and adults alike. While the game is no longer available, it remains a fondly remembered classic among Atari 8-bit fans.
