Little Kings II

Little Kings II is a video game in the strategy genre developed by ficus Softwareentwicklung & Entertainment and published by ficus Softwareentwicklung & Entertainment originally released in 2002. It is currently playable on Windows.

Little Kings II is a game that is halfway between a management simulation and Risk. There are two victory conditions for each game. These are fixed conditions (leaving the other players without land) and random conditions (for example, winning a certain amount of resources).

When you receive taxes from your citizens, you can use them to reinvest in your army or to buy the necessary resources from other players. As in Risk, you attack other regions by moving troops from bordering regions into enemy territory, and the computer calculates the results. A special trick of the game is that you cannot see the strength of the enemy before attacking. The game has seven countries with different advantages and disadvantages.

The novelty with respect to Little Kings are the missions that each player receives in addition to the victory conditions. These missions are more complex and, in most cases, multiple conditions must be met before completing the mission. Also new is the ability to evolve your city to gain better abilities, such as increased defense.
