Luxury Liner Tycoon

Luxury Liner Tycoon is a video game in the simulation genre developed by Virtual Playground Ltd. and published by Eclypse originally released in 2005. It is currently playable on Windows.

Luxury Liner Tycoon is a typical tycoon game in which players run a cruise ship. As usual in this type of game, the new game starts with an empty ship, and players use the space to build a business that is expected to be lucrative. There are 74 rooms and stores at their disposal, including cabins, bars and restaurants, as well as some 80 decorative elements. The construction itself works through a drag-and-drop interface. After hiring employees and setting the course, players can set sail and watch as visitors tour the ship and use the environment.

Much of the game's time is spent on the various statistics screens, checking income and expenses, and figuring out which customer complaints need to be resolved. The game features three game modes. Free Cruise, Career (various cruises) and Captain's Challenge. The latter consists of missions in which the player must meet specific objectives, with set circumstances such as time and budget. Construction options may also be limited.
