Description MacDo
MacDo is a game released in 2000 for the Apple Macintosh. It is a simulation of the fast food industry, in which the player must manage a McDonald's restaurant.
The game was developed by French studio Lankhor, and published by MacSoft in North America and Aspyr Media in Europe. It was one of the first games to be released for the Macintosh platform that was not a port of an existing game.
MacDo is played from a top-down perspective, and the player must manage every aspect of their McDonald's restaurant, from hiring staff and keeping them happy, to preparing food and serving customers. The game progresses through a series of days, with each day becoming more challenging as more customers visit the restaurant.
The player must also manage their finances, as they must make enough money to keep the restaurant running, while also paying their staff and suppliers. If the player runs out of money, they must take out a loan, which must be repaid with interest.
MacDo received mixed reviews upon release, with many critics praising its gameplay and graphics, but criticising its business model. However, the game was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies worldwide.
If you're a fan of fast food and management games, then MacDo is definitely worth checking out. It's a unique and challenging game that will keep you entertained for hours.
