Magic Johnson's Fast Break is a video game in the sports genre developed by Sculptured Software, Inc. and published by Mastertronic, Inc. originally released in 1989. It is currently playable on DOS, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64.

Magic Johnson's Fast Break is a fast-paced two-on-two action instead of the usual five-on-five contest. On the screen you have a full court game and horizontal scrolling. A referee oversees the action and calls fouls if the game gets too rough, and a crowd cheers you on.

Your team starts each game with a certain salary level. Your goal is to beat your opponent to earn a higher salary. If you keep winning, you'll be able to etch your name on the big winners screen. Choose from five skill levels: from rookie to pro. Each level offers faster play, tougher defense and more money if you win.

Each match lasts four three-minute quarters, just like in real life. Between quarters, you can check statistics such as field goal percentage, three-pointers made, rebounds and steals. If the score is tied at the end, more quarters are played until someone wins.

You control one player at a time. An arrow appears on the screen over the head of the player you are controlling. Just press B to switch players. You can play against the computer or against up to three friends.
