Description Mancopter
Mancopter is a horizontal side view game in which the screen scrolls from right to left as you move, while you control your hero piloting a primitive pedal-powered helicopter for a race over the ocean. You have to fly and overtake as many competitors as you can as you try to get from the starting line to the finish line far away. To pilot your helicopter, you must hold down the fire button to stay in the air and press left to move around the screen. If you release the fire button, you will fall towards the water; if you release left, your momentum will keep you moving until you slowly come to a stop. The race is timed and you start with seventy seconds, which gets shorter as you run, but passing the buoys gives you an extra forty seconds.
The other competitors fill the sky and you can either dodge them or hit the top of their helicopter, which sends them into the water, but if they hit you from above, you fall into the sea. You carry four fish and every time you hit the water a whale appears and lifts you over its head, but at the cost of losing a fish, and if you have no more fish when you hit the water, a shark appears and eats you. Pelicans fly in the air from left to right and if they have a fish in their mouth then hitting them gives you the fish and you can take up to eight. If you hit a pelican without a fish, it will take one of yours, and if you hit one without one, you will fall into the water and get eaten again.
Other creatures to avoid are squids, dodos and storm clouds that release lightning and if you get hit by one, you lose a fish. If you run out of time, you lose a fish, but you have five seconds to try to reach a buoy. Trees make their appearance and you can't pass through the leaves and branches, so you must fly underneath avoiding hitting the water. During the race, rafts make their appearance and landing on them gives you bonus points for time remaining and competitors beaten. Hitting a competitor in the water does not count as a pass.
