Massive Assault is a 3D war game based on hexagons. However, you will not see hexagons all over the map, as the small circles indicating hexagons appear only when you need them. It is a simple turn-based game with minimal rules. You control an army of sci-fi vehicles and fight for control of several countries across small islands or huge archipelagos. The game is rendered in 3D, with water effects. Some critics describe the game as a puzzle rather than a strategy game, as a few wrong moves often lead to defeat.
