Description Maze Adventures

Maze Adventures is one of Keypunch's many game packages in which the company basically stole the works of independent designers (most released as freeware or shareware on various BBSs), stripped them of all credits, and sold them as the company's own games.

This package is notable for including games by a single designer: Apogee's Scott Miller. The four games in this compilation are maze games that Scott Miller designed early in his career, and curiously Keypunch left his name intact in the credits (they usually replace them with the text '(c) Copyright Keypunch'). The games are Diamond Digger, Block Five, Rogue Runner and The Maze Machine. All of the games in this group, except Diamond Digger, were later re-released by Apogee (of which Scott Miller is one of the founders) as shareware titles in their Adventure Fun-Pak and Puzzle Fun-Pak packages. The games themselves are fairly primitive, but as a whole are worthwhile for Apogee fans or anyone interested in early budget games.
