Description Mazzembly 3D

Mazzembly 1997 receives an added dimension in this extended tribute remake, which continues to star aspiring demoscopist Demulamu as he traverses the 'virtual reality demo party', attempting to amass elitism and fame on his way to scene g0dness. His escapades now take the form of a 3D dungeon crawler, in which randomly generated levels are experienced from a first-person view; rising through the ranks will involve wandering, interacting, finding/buying/using items, participating in party events, and/or resorting to violence (drink optional).

Typical scenics continue to infest the party scene: lamers, elites, and organizers, now joined by merchants, reporters, and the dreaded Q-Bitches. There's a new energy stat (recharged by sleeping or eating), which will determine your combat prowess, and a few more avenues of notoriety: for example, collected hard drives can now be used to submit bids for cash prizes and fame. Money can also buy food, booze, maps, radar equipment, and even heavy weaponry; booze can result in harsh disciplinary action, but (of course) makes you more ELITE. Your goal is to accumulate as much fame as you can before the party is over... or die trying! or die trying!
