Description Mine Sweeper
Mine Sweeper is a classic Windows game released in 2005. It is a puzzle game in which the player must uncover all squares on the grid without detonating any of the hidden mines. The game is played on a square grid of varying sizes, with a few mines randomly placed on the grid. The objective is to clear the grid by using clues that are provided by the number of mines adjacent to each square.
The game has two levels of difficulty, beginner and expert. On the beginner level, the grid is 9x9 with 10 mines. On the expert level, the grid is 16x16 with 40 mines. The game is played by opening squares on the grid until all non-mine squares are revealed. If a square containing a mine is opened, the game is lost.
The player can use clues from the number of mines adjacent to each square to determine which squares are safe to open. The game also has two optional features, flags and question marks. Flags are used to mark squares that are suspected of containing mines, while question marks are used to mark squares that are uncertain.
Players can gain points by quickly and accurately uncovering squares without setting off any mines. The total score is dependent on the size of the grid, the number of mines, and the speed at which the grid is cleared. High scores can be saved and compared with other players online.
Mine Sweeper is a great game for all ages and provides a challenge for both novice and experienced players. The game is easy to learn, but the difficulty increases with each grid size and number of mines. With its simple yet challenging gameplay, Mine Sweeper is sure to provide hours of fun.
