Miner 2049er Volume II is a video game in the action genre developed by Big Five Software Co. and published by Tigervision originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
Bounty Bob followed Yukon Johan to the New Clearned uranium mines. Bob must 'claim' every part of the mine . . But he must not spend too much time in each area, or he will die from radiation.
The player becomes Bob and must traverse different types of areas in the nuclear mine. In the first level, 'Elevator', Bob must 'claim' each part of the screen by walking across it. Jump over monsters to avoid them, grab old miners' belongings to give them energy, and grab mutants to earn points. Use the elevator to reach the higher parts of the screen.
The next area is the crusher, which has the same objective as the elevator, but is more challenging because the player must avoid being crushed. The last area is the radioactive waste, where the objective is the same, but the player must maneuver Bob around the radioactive waste. Each screen has a timer in the upper right corner. If this timer reaches zero before all sections are cleared, a life is lost.
Once all three screens are cleared, all three screens are repeated, but there is no energy bonus, so you must either jump over all the mutants or avoid them.
