Monopoly Junior is a video game in the strategy genre developed by Minds Eye Productions and published by Atari Europe S.A.S.U. originally released in 1999. It is currently playable on Windows.

Monopoly Junior, released by Hasbro in 1999, has become a go-to classic board game for kids aged five to eight. The object of the game is to acquire as many properties as possible and become the wealthiest player. It streamlines many of the original Monopoly rules, focusing instead on the most essential elements.

In order to start the game, the banker must set up by placing money in the bank and evenly distributing a token and money to each player. Instead of creating a traditional monopolistic board, players draw Start and Finish cards. Much like the classic board game, players move along the game track by rolling a single, paired dice that enable them to advance, buy properties, and collect rent from other players.

Players are encouraged to show holiday spirit by acquiring winter wonderlands, Halloween spookiness and other festive properties. By ensuring that all property groups get treated equally, no single fundamental element is overpowered. Furthermore, Hasbro has included a set of eight Junior Rules cards that define crucial rules keeping the game tasteful, as well as a mobile phone spinner, providing a fun and fast way to roll the die.
