Naious

Naious is a video game in the action genre developed by Exact and published by Exact originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on Sharp X68000.

In the 21st century the Earth became overpopulated and humans began to build colonies in the solar system. Technological expansion caused widespread pollution; to counteract this, a powerful Naious computer was built. A century later, humans became completely dependent on Naious, and it was then that an unexpected attack occurred. European cities were reduced to ruins after a single attack. The fighter spacecraft ASP and its pilot Manami Katagiri were facing a possible rebellion on Jupiter when it became clear that the future fate of humanity depended on them.

Naious is a horizontal scrolling shooter game. The gameplay is fairly traditional and consists of traversing outdoor and indoor scenarios (often with tight spaces), destroying moving and stationary enemies along the way. The combat ship starts with a Vulcan cannon and can later switch to wide fire, lasers and guided missiles. At some points in the scenarios, power-ups appear that change or upgrade the aircraft's weapons.

It is possible that we have multiple downloads available when different versions exist.
