NASCAR is a video game in the racing / driving genre developed by Torus Games Pty. Ltd. and published by LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. originally released in 2005. It is currently playable on Leapster.

The interactive game “NASCAR: Leapster” was released in 2005 specifically for Leapfrog’s Leapster series of gaming devices. The game allows players to travel along NASCAR tracks, competing on the racetrack against other racers to win exciting championship prizes.

The game focuses on an array of racing-related activities, such as matching letters to form words, solution of math puzzles, and helping players learn important vocabulary and spelling skills as they join forces with NASCAR professionals to make their way around the NASCAR circuit. Players take control of their own car as they compete on the track against 13 other AI-controlled cars. As they race, players have the unique opportunity to understand the nuances of navigating a track, while learning how to make strategic decisions to win the race.

The game also includes special Mini-Games to give players an added challenge and unique experiences beyond standard racing. During Mini-Game sessions, players are required to answer questions related to NASCAR history, map directions, and race knowledge.

The game features four difficulty levels, challenging players regardless of their racing experience. An embedded manual with step-by-step instructions helps players learn the game basics, while providing helpful tips to boost their skills along the way.
