Nightwing is a video game in the adventure genre developed by Ulterior Motives and published by Softel originally released in 1989. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum.
ZX Spectrum game: Nightwing, released in 1989, is an action-packed side-scrolling platformer that puts players in the shoes of the titular superhero. Armed with his trusty Batarang, Nightwing must use his agility and combat skills to take down a variety of enemies, including the Joker and Scarecrow, and save the city of Gotham from certain doom.
The game is split into four stages, each of which presents its own challenges. In the first stage, players must navigate their way through a series of dangerous rooftops, avoiding enemies and traps. The second stage takes place in an abandoned carnival, where players must use their Batarang to take down enemy clowns. The third stage is set in the Gotham sewers, and task players with avoiding environmental hazards while taking down enemies. The fourth and final stage is set atop a building under construction, and features a boss battle against the Joker.
Nightwing is a challenging but ultimately rewarding game that is sure to please fans of the superhero genre. With tight controls, challenging enemies, and a variety of stages to explore, Nightwing is a must-play for any ZX Spectrum owner.
