The primary goal of the in-game character is to defeat the enemies as quickly and as efficiently as possible to make it to the next level. As the game progresses, the difficulty level increases, adding more obstacles and enemies: tanks, helicopters, machine guns, missiles, and more. Each level also offers its own set of objects or power-ups that can be acquired to help the soldier, such as rocket launchers, extra grenades, and extra life.

The graphics and sound of the game are quite appealing, despite being more than 30 years old. The sound features include gunshots, explosions, enemy voices, background music, and more.
