Orion Quest

Orion Quest is a video game in the adventure genre and published by Argus Press Software Ltd. originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

Earth's war with the planet Zarp has been going on for many years and now, in the year 2554, the Zarp have one last plan to end the war, once and for all. They have planted a huge bomb that will destroy all of Earth, and the Zarp have threatened to detonate it unless Earth gives in to their demands. Missions have failed to land on Zarp to retrieve the data needed to disarm the bomb, and you are now the last mission and the last hope for the planet. Problems have arisen from the start of the mission as you have been shot at while attempting to land, and although you survived the crash, you are now on this hostile planet with no chance of leaving the planet if you get the necessary data.

Orion Quest is a text adventure game where the screen has an image showing your environment and the text describes what you can see. You type commands with the keyboard to interact with each location.
