Description Out 'M' Up
Written as an entry for the 100KB PC game competition at the Inscene 2000 demo party, Out 'M' Up is a simple futuristic scrolling shooter: blast your way through endless alien attacks without getting destroyed, and try to shoot down as many of the incoming enemies as possible, as they keep popping off the top of the playing field.
Your small fighter craft can withstand a few hits from enemy fire, but once all energy is depleted, you lose a life. Some of the defeated enemies will drop power-ups that allow you to upgrade your ammo type and firing speed. Alien assaults come in waves; when the last wave is over, the game returns to the beginning.
