In 1989, Oxxonian was released on the Commodore 64 as a horizontal shooter game. Developed by Commodore, it was the first game of its kind from the popular 8-bit personal computer system. The objective of the game was to navigate a fighter jet across the planet Oxxon, destroying enemy ships as it traveled.
