Pachio-kun: Warau Uchū

Pachio-kun: Warau Uchū is a video game in the simulation genre developed by Coconuts Japan Entertainment Co., Ltd. and published by Coconuts Japan Entertainment Co., Ltd. originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on TurboGrafx CD.

Long ago, an evil cosmic entity known as Geios was defeated and sealed away for eons. However, a malevolent alien race has found a way to harvest its power and is now preparing for its reincarnation. Planet Pachinko was attacked and its king killed. Returning from an interstellar journey, Pachio-kun boards the spaceship Sledgehammer and embarks on a journey to defeat evil and restore his homeland.

Pachio-kun: Warau Uchū is a pachinko game with a story and limited top-down exploration. In most areas, Pachio-kun has to complete one or more pachinko games in order to leave the location and advance the plot. The pachinko machines come in different flavors and difficulty levels. The controls are fairly simple and require the player to adjust the strength of the shot; the shots themselves can be done automatically. The game comes with a special controller similar to a real pachinko machine.
