Description Peacemaker: Protect, Search & Destroy

Peacemaker: Protect, Search & Destroy, also known as Peacemaker, is a Windows game released in 1999. Developed by American studio Red Storm Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, Peacemaker is a tactical shooter set in the near future. In the game, the player takes on the role of a United Nations peacekeeper in the fictional country of Isla Trueno, which is in the midst of a civil war. The player must search for and destroy weapons of mass destruction, as well as protect civilians from both the warring factions and the environment.

Peacemaker is a squad-based game, with the player controlling a team of up to four peacekeepers. The game is played from a third-person perspective, and the player can issue commands to their team using a point-and-click interface. The game features a large number of weapons and equipment, which can be used to engage enemies in combat, as well as to search for and destroy weapons of mass destruction. Peacemaker also features a number of stealth gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to use silenced weapons and to wear camouflage.

The game received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising the game's graphics and gameplay, but criticising its artificial intelligence and mission design. Peacemaker was a commercial success, selling over 1 million copies.
