Pheenix

Pheenix is a video game in the action genre and published by Alternative Software Ltd. originally released in 1986. It is currently playable on Commodore 16, Plus/4.

Pheenix is a clone of the arcade shooter Phoenix: In five different screens, you have to shoot various flying entities whose droppings are harmful to your spaceship. Luckily, you can activate a shield that will protect your ship for a short period of time (although you can't shoot during that time either).

Although the five different screens are similar, each one is unique in its own way: In the first two you have to shoot bat-like creatures that line the screen, just like in another arcade classic of the era, Galaxian. On the third and fourth screens, you first see eggs flying around before the birds hatch and start unloading on you. And on the fifth screen, you have to destroy a large, heavily armored enemy mothership. If the mother ship is destroyed, the game will be repeated, but with increased speed and difficulty.
To defeat the numerous enemies, your ship is equipped with a laser cannon and a force field.

If you are hit by an alien or an alien projectile, you lose one of four lives, once all lives are spent, it is game over.
