Description Phobos

Phobos is a 1982 Atari 8-bit game by John Harris. The player controls a spaceship attempting to destroy an enemy base on the surface of Phobos, a moon of Mars. The game is played from a first-person perspective, with the player's ship represented by a crosshair on the screen. The ship can move in eight directions and fire missiles at the enemy base.

The enemy base is defended by a number of turrets, which fire at the player's ship. The player must destroy all of the turrets in order to destroy the enemy base. The game is divided into a number of levels, with each level becoming more difficult as the player progresses.

Phobos was one of the first games to use Atari's new graphics capabilities, and as such, it was one of the first games to use a first-person perspective. The game was well received by critics, and was praised for its graphics and gameplay.
