Pin Point is based on the game Spindizzy, in which you control a spinning top through ten isometric, flat-screen levels to reach a white flag. Each level is a platforming course and you must guide the spinning top without falling off the edges within a time limit. If you fall off the edges, you start from the beginning of the level losing valuable time. You must take into account the inertia of the top, as it will keep moving after you have gone down, so you will have to press the joystick in the opposite direction. To climb some hills or clear gaps you can give a small burst of speed by pressing the fire button.
