Description PowerMonger
PowerMonger takes the design and basic concepts of Bullfrog's previous game, Populous, and places it in a war context. The game puts the player in the role of a dispossessed warlord making his way through 195 territories on his way to conquer the world. Other leaders have the same goal.
The game world is now composed of polygons, so the view can be rotated and moved around more freely than in Populous. Trade, diplomacy, inventions and scorched earth invasions play a major role in the player's progress in the game. The computer versions can be played with two players via modem links.
