Predator 2

Predator 2 is a video game in the action genre developed by Perfect 10 Productions and published by Arena Entertainment originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on Genesis.

Players guide Lieutenant Mike Harrigan as he follows the Predator through seven levels based on the movie. Mike's main concerns are the hostages held in the levels and the legions of gang members out for blood. He also has to face the Predator, as a boss at the end of each level and as a time limit: if the player takes too long to rescue a hostage, the Predator will shoot him with its tri-laser.

The game takes place in an isometric third-person view, with large swarms of easy-to-kill baddies appearing through one-way doors scattered throughout the level. Weapons include not only machine guns and faster shotguns, but also some very advanced Predator weapons that the player can pick up and use. Each defeated gang member drops drugs that can be picked up and automatically sent to the 'drug squad' for points. No sounds or music from the movie are used, but still scenes from the movie introduce the levels.
