Pref Club is a video game in the strategy genre developed by IBS and published by IBS originally released in 1991. It is currently playable on DOS.

Pref Club is a decent card game that excels at introducing something that is missing from most card/casino games: the club environment.

Instead of putting you in a tournament setting like in QQP's underrated Bridge Olympiad, or the casino setting that Capstone implemented well in their games, Pref Club places the bridge game in the context of an exclusive card playing club. After identifying yourself and your tastes, a butler welcomes you to the club. The game itself is simple: choose two other club members to be your playing partners for the day. I don't know the English name of the Pref Club card game (if anyone does, please email me), but it's similar to gin rummy, but much simpler. The best thing about Pref Club is probably the variety of computer opponents. The computer-controlled club members vary in their competence from the dumbest to the card sharks, so it would be wise to listen to the butler's introduction to each player. Winnings are kept in your account, and you will be kicked out of the club if you lose all your money. The graphics are nice; in fact, much better and more interesting than a normal card game, thanks to the cartoonish style of both your opponents and the decks. In terms of longevity, Pref Club is entertaining enough to keep players interested, although it lacks the extensive tournament or career mode of Bridge Olympiad. It is recommended for beginners and intermediate card players who want to hone their skills.
