Psychic Detective Series Vol.5: Nightmare is a video game in the adventure genre developed by Data West and published by Data West originally released in 1991. It is currently playable on FM Towns.

Katsuya Furuyanagi, a psychic detective, is finally able to lead a quiet life with his girlfriend, Rieka. However, he begins to be haunted by strange nightmares. A strange young woman is trapped in a castle in the middle of nowhere, begging for help. One night, when Furuyanagi enters the castle, the woman has transformed into a miraculous creature. Furuyanagi learns that she has a special psychic ability that allows her to communicate directly with people's minds, and she begins to wonder if her nightmares have something to do with reality.

'Nightmare' is the fifth installment in the 'Psychic Detective' series. Like its predecessors, it is a Japanese-style adventure game presented in still images from a first-person perspective. The story progresses through conversations and events as they occur, and there is no inventory management or puzzles. The player manipulates objects on the screen by pointing and clicking, and selects verb commands from a menu.
