I played this game non-stop with my little brother on our last generation IBM XT. We were hooked by the fluid animations, cool fighting moves, endless enemies and well-drawn oriental backgrounds. Plus, it has a good mix of indoor and outdoor levels.
Try as we might, we could never beat the game on difficulty levels higher than 7 (9 is the hardest). On 7, the only way to beat the large number of enemies was to keep your fingers pressed on the 'hit' button:)
Definitely a standard bearer of side-scrolling action games for generations to come.
