Margaret Thatcher's late husband, Denis, was known for his fondness for gin, a fact frequently exploited by the satirical magazine Private Eye. Thus, this text adventure stars Denis as he tries to escape from 10 Downing Street (and Maggie) to get to the Gravedigger's Arms pub.
Denis must get a drink within 10 moves or else it's game over. The descriptions of the locations are written in an unusual style, with rhymes and wry observations about the monotony of political life from Denis's unique position. Similarly, the help function often offers terse, sarcastic and unhelpful answers.
As you progress through the game, simulated headlines from The Sun newspaper appear to comment on the situations that arise. The game is written in Quill, Gilsoft's own popular adventure creation package.
