The game is played from a strategic view of the map, from which you select the area where you are going to venture, rest and make the necessary equipment purchases. After that, it's your turn to explore the realm and fight all the enemies you can find from a side-view perspective. Battles are turn-based and you can give several different orders that will be executed in queue when your turn is over. You can explore the terrain as you see fit, but beware of the time limit imposed by the Dragon's Eye.

The higher the number, the higher the floor the room is on. During your journey you will encounter many evil creatures and find some magical and useful treasures.

You, Brian Hammerhand, mercenary at large, current junior officer of the cavalry troop, and drawer of the shortest straw, have the singular honor of undertaking this dangerous but glorious mission.
