PretzelDash
PretzelDash is a Boulder Dash variant revolving around salty baked goods. The premise of its classic 8-bit predecessor remains intact: the protagonist is sent into the pretzel mines, digging for food and (hopefully) avoiding the numerous hazards that lie in wait: falling rocks, wandering monsters, explosions, and inescapable traps. However, there are other types of quests besides the usual stage objective of eating a set number of pretzels.
These quests differ between stages, ranging from merely reaching the exit intact to performing arbitrary tasks on unsuspecting objects and enemies. Enemies (brown monsters) can have things fall on them, and the resulting explosion can open up inaccessible areas; blue monsters, on the other hand, are harmless, and sometimes you have to take advantage of them and manipulate them to complete the mission. Some objects obey the laws of gravity: rocks and pretzels roll and pile up when not resting on the ground. Others do not, and green balloons rise into the air instead of falling. Instead of a time limit for each mission, the time limit is simply recorded for scoring purposes.
