The Adventures of Maddog Williams is a great shareware adventure game in the style of Sierra's early King's Quest (i. e. text parser with graphics). In the role of genius inventor Maddog Williams, travel the length and breadth of the kingdom to save the world from impending doom.
The parser isn't quite up to Infocom's standards, but it's definitely as good as Sierra's early AGI games. It's worth your time if you're a fan of old-school graphical parser games.
