World Dance
World Dance is a small edutainment game in which players guide dancers to the game board to collect various cultural objects. Seven dance levels/tracks (Egypt, France, Senegal, Hawaii, China, Mexico, and Ireland) are provided, each with a unique dancer, music, and cultural objects. To collect the objects, players control the dancers as they move around the isometric dance floor and step over the scattered gift boxes. When they hit a gift box, cultural and bonus items, such as time extension and life expectancy, appear on the floor. However, moving the dancers around the board is not as easy as it looks. Hitting obstacles and walls decreases the amount of 'life' the dancer has, and when it runs out, the game is over.
Once all the items have been collected, players can go to the 'World Journal' and read about the items the dancer just collected to learn more about the culture. The ultimate goal is to unlock all seven countries in the diary and gain access to an encyclopedia of cultural information.
