The Mystic Well is a Dungeon Master role-playing game. A powerful wizard once enchanted his life force into a golden skull and then proclaimed himself a God. After his ascension to God, he conquered the citadel known as Mystic Mirror to display his power. The player must now thwart the evil wizard's plan to destroy the world. The game consists of 10 levels and the player has won once he destroys the golden skull at the top level. The player can choose to play as one of the following four characters:Fighter: His best weapon is the sword and earns 10 hp per levelRogue: His agility is high and he earns most experience from treasures found. He gains 6 hp per levelPriest: His vigor is high and he has the ability to pray. Praying grants some healing, some protection and a map of the surroundings. Gains 8 hp per levelMage: He can use spell books without destroying them. Gains 4 hp per levelOn the left side of the screen the player sees the inventory, on the right side the player's status is displayed and at the bottom are the command buttons.
