A beautiful princess has chosen you to solve the mystery of a castle called 'Chateau d'Or' - 'The Golden Castle'. Once there, you meet a count to whom you have to answer tricky questions in order to find a treasure. As in Myst, the environment is presented through pre-rendered still images and when you click on an exit you move on to the next still image - there is no fluid movement. The puzzles are mostly the usual logic puzzles, e. g. , color or symbol matching, and story puzzles.
Adventure at the Chateau d'Or is a 3D adventure game with 3 different difficulty levels that can be set separately for both types of puzzles (logic and knowledge puzzles). There is also a map function to get to locations faster.
