You have been Framed and thrown into a foreign jail. Your mission is to escape from prison and prove your innocence.
Although this is a side-scrolling arcade game similar in style to the Commander Keen series, in Framed there is a deeper plot and more 'adventure' elements. Although you have guns and ammo, there are ways to avoid shooting enemies altogether. You can have up to 16 items in your inventory at once and some can be combined to solve a situation or puzzle.
